People & Talent Team Lead

This role is responsible for translating Forsit’s business goals into a people strategy that raises talent density and increases organizational speed.
You will define and directly hire the senior leaders and critical specialists needed for the company’s next stage of growth, while establishing a consistent talent bar across hiring, probation, performance management, compensation, promotion, and key people decisions.
You will also partner closely with executives and functional leaders to strengthen performance standards, feedback, talent development, and decision-making, ensuring that people management practices are applied consistently across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Develop the people strategy and hiring priorities needed to raise company-wide talent density
• Directly source, assess, and hire senior leaders and other business-critical talent
• Build and manage integrated people systems across hiring, probation, performance management, compensation, and promotion
• Equip leaders to set clear expectations, give effective feedback, develop talent, and make sound people decisions
• Improve recruiting and HR operations through people analytics, AI, and process automation
Requirements
• Experience leading recruiting and people strategy in a startup or high-performance organization
• Proven track record of raising talent density through critical hiring, high-performer retention, and effective performance management
• Hands-on experience sourcing and hiring executives, senior leaders, and other business-critical talent
• Experience building or operating people systems across hiring, probation, performance management, compensation, and promotion
• Ability to make difficult people decisions quickly, fairly, and consistently based on clear performance and organizational standards
Preferred
• Experience supporting an organization through rapid growth from approximately 10 to 100+ employees
• Experience in global recruiting or local HR operations in partnership with overseas entities
• Proven experience improving recruiting conversion rates and process efficiency through data-driven funnel analysis
• Experience aligning workforce planning, compensation structures, and labor costs with business priorities
• Experience managing employee relations and mitigating HR compliance risks
