Director of Product Development (Beauty & Personal Care)

## Position Overview This role is responsible for building Forsit-owned beauty and personal care brands for the US market from the ground up. You will use market, consumer, and sales insights to identify hero SKUs that can drive brand growth, and oversee the full product development process—from product concept and formulation development to manufacturer selection, cost and quality management, production, and launch. Partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations, you will turn product launches into revenue and repeat purchases, while using customer feedback and sales performance to improve products and expand the brand portfolio.

• Develop the brand strategy and product portfolio for Forsit-owned beauty and personal care brands based on US market and consumer insights • Define the concept, benefits, formulation, pricing, and positioning of hero SKUs that drive brand growth • Lead ODM/OEM manufacturer and supplier selection, negotiations, and product development partnerships • Manage product development timelines and quality across sampling, testing, US regulatory review, production, and delivery • Optimize product profitability and supply stability through cost, margin, MOQ, and production term management • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to lead product launches and apply sales data and customer feedback to future product development

• Experience leading the full product development process in the beauty or personal care industry, from product planning and development through production and launch • Proven experience developing hero SKUs that drove brand growth and delivered measurable sales results in the US market • Hands-on experience working directly with ODM/OEM manufacturers to manage formulation, quality, timelines, costs, and production terms • Practical knowledge of US product regulations, testing, labeling, and quality standards • Proven ability to set priorities, resolve product development issues, and drive products through launch in ambiguous environments

• Experience developing and launching multiple products across skincare, personal care, or medical beauty categories • Experience building a private-label brand from the ground up or leading brand development with founder-level ownership • Experience expanding a product portfolio from a core product into additional SKUs and categories • Experience commercializing products through Amazon, TikTok Shop, DTC, or US retail channels • Experience using sales data and customer feedback to improve existing products and guide new product development
