Backend Engineer

This position is responsible for building and operating Forsit’s message-driven backend platform that reliably collects, normalizes, and stores data from global commerce channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop. The role owns service stability and scalability across external API integrations, asynchronous data pipelines, databases, deployment environments, and AWS infrastructure.

• Design, build, and operate Node.js/TypeScript-based backend systems for commerce data collection. • Develop API integrations and new connectors for global commerce platforms such as Amazon SP-API and TikTok Shop. • Implement reliable API integration flows including authentication, token refresh, rate limits, pagination, and error handling. • Design RabbitMQ-based asynchronous data pipelines with retry, idempotency, and DLQ patterns. • Improve database models, migrations, and data processing performance for collected data and processing history. • Build and operate deployment environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD. • Operate AWS infrastructure and monitoring environments while optimizing reliability, cost, security, and system capacity.

• 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Node.js/TypeScript, or equivalent technical capability. • Experience building and operating production services using NestJS or a similar backend framework. • Experience with schema and index design, migrations, and performance optimization in relational databases such as PostgreSQL. • Experience building message queue-based systems using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS, as well as integrating external REST APIs. • Experience deploying and operating services on AWS with Kubernetes and Helm, along with Git-based collaboration workflows.

• Experience integrating global commerce platform APIs such as Amazon SP-API, TikTok Shop, or Shopify. • Experience designing large-scale data collection pipelines and retry or reprocessing mechanisms for failed data. • Experience building and managing cloud infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform or CDK. • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or operating monitoring systems with CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. • Experience with AWS cost optimization, IAM least-privilege design, secrets management, and cloud security operations.
